Soooort of. The research had kind of a major flaw. It did what it was supposed to do, sure, really really efficient extraction, but fire crys is... kinda volatile. Too dangerous to be really practical.

Someone came from another world. I met them and I did think they were crazy at first, but when they went back home...I couldn't really deny it.

Yeah. I mean, I was the only one who knew what was wrong with it and why I scrapped it, so without me there my research ended up going into a lot of things.
