Mostly it means I end up being the one sent on diplomatic missions if someone is needed and no actual diplomat is available.

I travelled a great deal as a child, so it's hard to say. But I was born on an asteroid and grew up on Earth.

But Darcy, Loki and Thor-- who isn't here-- are from the same place. And River and the Doctor-- who also isn't here-- are from the same place too. So hopefully that helps some.
