I was taken from my parents shortly after I was born, but I ended up a child at the same time as them and grew up as their best friend. They named their daughter after me.

I know. I've tried to kill him before, and the reasons were different. But the time we're talking about, I just simply had no choice. There was no reason except that it was something that happened. It always happened, and it had to happen. Interfering with that nearly destroyed time itself.

There was no other reason, like I said. Some points in time are fixed, they can never be changed no matter what. Even though we knew what would happen, neither of us could change it.

It wasn't random at all. I refused to kill him, and time... stopped working. The only way to fix it was to actually do it, or else everything would fall apart. I'm not talking about displacement, I'm talking about the end of time forever.
