[ The elevators do not take you up to your living area. Rather, they take you DOWN, to a small room with three white walls, and one that is a thick, translucent plastic. There appears to be a chute of some sort behind the plastic wall. ]

Now, in order to determine how well you know each other, we're going to see which teams are the most popular. The rules are simple:

* At the end of the test, each team will suffer an attack. Each attack will kill about half of everyone present.
* You may choose one team (other than your own) to defend from this attack. A team that is defended will not be harmed.
* If you wish to defend yourself instead of another team, you must choose a team to attack.
* You may not refuse to choose.

No, but... but isn't it better to try to save somebody than to try and kill them?

This is also an action to save the lives of your teammates. To refuse is suicide, and not just your own. You want to refuse on a purely ideological basis?

You don't know nobody is going to protect us! What if we killed a whole team? How could we live with ourselves?

The odds are against us. You can't just assume the best outcome. Would you be able to if you're wrong?

[ grabs Tamaki's wrist, tight in his grasp. it probably hurts quite a bit ] Are you all talk?

[ SLAP ]

[suprasensuality]

[ puts his hand to his cheek at the sting, shocked for a moment and then just grabs Tamaki's other wrist, his expression twisting further ]

I'm not the one needing to prove anything here. You say you can manage to keep on should you die as a result of your choice, but this much is too much for you to handle? With all your bones intact, tsk. Not a single bruise.

So I'm supposed to prove I don't want to fight by fighting you?

[ so he says, but this really hurts and he is gearing up to kick you ]

I've never been one to trust intent without action to back it up. If this is the extent of your will. . .

[ struggling now, kicking at his shins ]

[ grimaces, loosening his grip as Tamaki struggles, and pulls his expression into a smile again ]

Should I consider this to be the strength of your feelings?

[ tries to yank back ]

[ tamaki can! tenjou doesn't try to grab his again ]

Hmm... I see. I suppose that's the most I can expect, for now.

[ well it's ok, Mikagami broke my spirit anyway ]
