Experiment 10 - Zeta

[ The elevators do not take you up to your living area. Rather, they take you DOWN, to a small room with three white walls, and one that is a thick, translucent plastic. There appears to be a chute of some sort behind the plastic wall. ]

Now, in order to determine how well you know each other, we're going to see which teams are the most popular. The rules are simple:

* At the end of the test, each team will suffer an attack. Each attack will kill about half of everyone present.
* You may choose one team (other than your own) to defend from this attack. A team that is defended will not be harmed.
* If you wish to defend yourself instead of another team, you must choose a team to attack.
* You may not refuse to choose.

[sighs a big sigh and closes her eyes, leaning against the elevator's rail]

You did well, considering it was your first.

How can you stand it? [looks at the others, he really can't stand the idea of watching them die]

[just smiles slightly and says nothing. because she can't stand it. at all]

[just staring at the elevator door, relieved but deeply bothered all the same]

Leo? Come on, let's go before she changes her mind.

... Will we find out who defended us?

Maybe. That depends on if they decide to tell us or not.

[as the elevator raises]

Maybe we should go to the common room... to see who comes back.

[hesitates but then nods. honestly, she'd rather not know, rather not face the guilt. but hell if she's going to leave him on his own immediately after that]

[ stares at the Zeta room when the doors open ]
