Experiment 10 - Theta

[ The elevators do not take you up to your living area. Rather, they take you DOWN, to a small room with three white walls, and one that is a thick, translucent plastic. There appears to be a chute of some sort behind the plastic wall. ]

Now, in order to determine how well you know each other, we're going to see which teams are the most popular. The rules are simple:

* At the end of the test, each team will suffer an attack. Each attack will kill about half of everyone present.
* You may choose one team (other than your own) to defend from this attack. A team that is defended will not be harmed.
* If you wish to defend yourself instead of another team, you must choose a team to attack.
* You may not refuse to choose.

If we had known the rules in advance, all teams could have agreed to defend another, creating a full cycle of protection.

Still...protection is more likely to save lives than attack, though that leaves our group vulnerable and dependent on the kindness of others.

There's nothing we can do about that... All we can do is decide which teams are the ones least likely to be protected, right?

Exactly. Those are also more likely to be hit multiple times.

[fishpanties]

[thinking hard, jaw clenched.]

Alpha and Kappa... I don't know much about them, but they don't seem to get out often. Delta has two new people... Epsilon...

[Nods]

I do not know any of them that well. But Kappa is one of the new teams, so perhaps...

By randomization, it's Alpha, but you're right about that.

Garry and I were considering protecting one of the least popular teams, though I do not know them well enough.

Tch. I dunno. I can't say I think of the other teams in terms of popularity.

The guy wearing a fashionable outfit the other day. Tamaki. He is some sort of royal concubine.

Well, he told me Ouran Host Club is a place where the most beautiful and charming male students entertain the school's female population. They are very wealthy and powerful.

Regardless, he is friendly and eager to please. I am not quite sure if he would be the most targeted.
